When the Mumbai Indians visit Ahmedabad, they will face a similar challenge. Mohammad Shami will make life difficult for the Mumbai Indians both at the top and at the end. Given his team’s lack of consistency with the ball, Rohit Sharma will also hope to win the toss and bowl first.

In the pace department, Archer and Behrendorff can be extremely effective on their best days. However, only Piyush Chawla has been consistent and has had the greatest impact thus far.

Arjun Tendulkar will almost certainly be rested for this game. He wasn’t used for his full quota anyway, and given the thrashing he took in the last game, MI may consider replacing him. Arshad Khan or Sandeep Warrier should replace Tendulkar, giving Rohit some pure bowling options in a lineup heavy on all-rounders.
