The batting lineup was unable to replicate the bowlers’ form. Being bowed out for 212 meant that they were already a long way behind. Even though they were able to limit South Africa to a target of 247, it proved to be too much as they were bowled out for 159 in the second innings. Raymon Reifer scored 62 in the first innings and Jermaine Blackwood scored 79 in the second, but both were in vain as they failed to win.
