England Team News:
During the T20I series, England was not far from their best XI, with only all-rounder Ben Stokes a likely addition to the side. He returns to the squad for this series, joining Joe Root to form a formidable batting lineup. England is not at full strength due to long-term injuries to Jofra Archer, Chris Woakes, and Ollie Stone.
England Squad
Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Liam Livingstone, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (wk/c), Moeen Ali, David Willey, Brydon Carse, Matthew Parkinson, Reece Topley, Craig Overton, Sam Curran, Philip Salt, Harry Brook
Players to watch out for:
Jonny Bairstow
Despite being a white-ball star for the last five years, Bairstow’s Test form has been so impressive that he has now scored more Test tons than ODI tons.
Joe Root
We saw in some of his Test shots this summer that Root has added some pro-active T20 style batting to his game. He is a very consistent ODI batter who is in excellent form.
Brydon Carse
In two games in the Netherlands, the right-arm pace bowler took 3-85. He’ll love the surface and pitch conditions in South London.
Possible Playing XI:
Jason Roy, Johnny Bairstow, Joe Root, Jos Buttler (c & wk), Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, Ben Stokes, Sam Curran, David Willey, Reece Topley, Matthew Parkinson

England vs India Toss Prediction
Although it will be tempting to bat first and score big in the first innings, we predict that both captains will be wary of an increase in humidity later in the match and will prefer to field second.
England vs India Pitch Report
The Oval has long been known for producing hard and bouncy wickets. This year’s T20 Blast has seen plenty of high-scoring games, despite the fact that the pace bowlers have always been dangerous.
This game will be played during the UK heatwave. Despite the cloud cover, the temperature will remain in the 30s throughout the day.
England vs India Prediction
The teams were separated by only one match in the T20I series, and the Test series, which began last summer, ended in a draw. We anticipate an exciting encounter in this series, which we expect to be equally close. We believe India will win the first game of the series.
